Approved Spring Retainers are available in packs of 4 or 6
These are required in Superstocks & Stockcars from December 1st 2023
The Spring Retainer rope to loop around the bottom of the spring and be securely mounted to the chassis by a minimum M8 bolt with fender washer or by shackle to a chain link welded to the chassis
Superstocks:
T12-1-57 SUSPENSION (rule from 1st December 2023)
(b) Coil springs must be clamped or chained in position, by use of a Speedway NZ Approved spring retainer. .
Stockcars:
T12-2-67 SPRINGS (Rule from 1st December 2023)
(c) Any car fitted with coil springs must have the springs securely fastened in position. by use of a Speedway NZ Approved spring retainer
